Marino Coco

Marino Coco is a Sales Representative in CDNGLOBAL’s Retail Division, specializing exclusively in tenant representation across Calgary’s retail market. He helps business owners find, evaluate, and negotiate space, with particular attention to the lease terms that determine what a location actually costs over time.

Marino works across sectors including medical and pharmacy, automotive service, hospitality, and specialty retail. His experience spans Calgary’s inner-city retail corridors, including Kensington (Hillhurst), Bridgeland, Mission, Beltline, and the Red Mile (17 Avenue SW corridor), as well as suburban centres such as Royal Oak. He runs the search, reviews every clause, and negotiates terms built to hold up well beyond the first year. Renewal options, restoration obligations, and operating cost exposure receive the same scrutiny as the headline rate.

He began his real estate career with The John Hripko Real Estate Team at Royal LePage® Benchmark as the team’s condominium specialist, later becoming its commercial specialist and the agent colleagues relied on when a client’s requirements moved beyond residential. Before entering real estate, Marino spent his career in education leadership and school administration, holding a master’s degree in leadership. That work centred on operations, budgets, and advocacy. He brings the same analytical, client-first approach to lease review and negotiation, where the clauses that matter are rarely the ones clients are asked to focus on.

Outside the office, Marino serves as Treasurer of Western Cup, Calgary’s annual 2SLGBTQIA+ multi-sport tournament, and volunteers with the Thrive Food Program at Unison at Kerby Centre.
