Mike Haimovitz

Mike Haimovitz is a commercial real estate professional with a strong background in business ownership and a firsthand understanding of the needs of business owners, tenants, landlords, and investors. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Mike owned and operated his own restaurants for over ten years in both Montreal and Ottawa. This experience gave him a practical understanding of the challenges involved in selecting a location, negotiating lease terms, managing occupancy costs, and operating a successful business.

Today, Mike brings this hands-on perspective to his work in commercial real estate. He worked at Shaker Realty for 8 years before joining CDNGLOBAL Ottawa in 2026. Mike has represented a diverse range of clients, including national franchises, independent operators, landlords, and investors. His experience includes retail and restaurant leasing, business sales and acquisitions, lease negotiations, and the acquisition and disposition of investment properties. His background as both a business operator and real estate professional allows him to provide practical advice with a clear understanding of the business considerations behind each transaction.
